About Leslie Alfred McGrath

Leslie Alfred McGrath Leslie grew up by the beach in Rhode Island and is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design.

She has lived as an artist for all of her life and worked as an illustrator and painter for 25 years. She is lucky to know the joy of a day spent with pastel dust in her fingernails or the smell of turpentine on her hands. She lives in northern Massachusetts, with her artist husband and three creative (code for messy) kids. Because her big golden dog insists they race through the woods in every kind of weather, she finds inspiration in a multitude of local New England sights whose palettes change with each season.
